1. Inventory the current system
List properties, future bookings, guest data, channel connections, integrations, automation, cleaner workflows, reports and permissions.
2. Define acceptance criteria
Turn the reasons for switching into testable requirements for the destination PMS.
3. Plan data migration
Decide what history must move, what can remain archived and how future reservations will be validated.
4. Reconnect channels carefully
Avoid overlapping sources of truth. Confirm availability and reservation integrity during the cutover.
5. Train and test the operating day
Test arrivals, departures, turnovers, changes, cancellations and reporting before declaring the migration complete.
